Dear friends,
In the fall I wrote you a letter, but felt too small and failed to send it, though over and over again I told myself I should. I am genuinely struggling to decide: do I allow my words to blossom into poems, or do I stick to the point, keep the poetry in the music, and send you songs or t-shirts when they arrive?
For now, if you’d like to read my rambling thoughts from last November, I planted them on the blog on my website (insert leaf emoji, lol). Enjoy, comment, write me back. I love letters.
I do finally have news, real true news about my upcoming release, and I am excited to share it with you. The full length of the upcoming album, A Little Fog, is in the mastering process and will be ready to share with you in April! I can’t wait to give y’all another taste of this project very soon - be on the lookout for another single (or two!) in February and March.
In order to finally wrap up this process and to be able to offer you all neat things like vinyl and t-shirts, I’ve decided to launch a kick-starter for the month of February! I’ll send you all an update the moment it begins - you will be able to pre-purchase merch and records and help me make Cartinglee that much more real.
I’ve been working with several incredible people, not just the musicians on my album, all of whom I love and can’t wait to tell you about, but also technicians and artists. Today, I’d like to introduce you to Chloe. Look her up at http://www.whollychloe.com/ She did my album art and helped me design merch for the upcoming release and she is wonderful.
Write me letters back, if you'd like! You know how to get in touch with me, but if you don't use socials or have my email, use the contact page on my website. I can't wait to hear from you.
Safe travels through the fog ~ Rachelle, in Cartinglee
